SYPNOSIS

Prime Cut Productions in association with the MAC at the Ulster Bank International Arts Festival present the Irish premiere of Mydidae by the BAFTA Award winning writer of Skins and This is England ‘86/’88; Jack Thorne.

Mydidae is the story of two ordinary people, in an ordinary bathroom, on a not so ordinary day.

“I thought this bath was about you reaching out to me, we’d have an emotional bath,
discuss things of inconsequence and go to bed and I’d sit on your face. But instead…”

Marian and David expose more than just skin in this most intimate of settings. Taking its name from a cosmopolitan family of flies, Mydidae invites the audience to become flies on the wall and witness the unravelling of love in the face of guilt and grief.
