Artistic Director - Emma Jordan

Emma is Prime Cut’s Executive Director and her directing credits for the company include: David Harrower's Blackbird, Owen McCafferty's Shoot the Crow, Fiona Evans‘ Scarborough,  Marina Carr’s Woman and Scarecrow, Denis Kelly’s After The End and a staged reading of Fermin Cabal's Tejas Verdes (Old Museum Arts Centre).

Emma's acting credits include work with numerous theatre companies including: Charabanc, Tinderbox, The Lyric Theatre, Replay, Dubblejoint and Young at Art.

Her producing credits for Prime Cut include Three Tall Women (Assistant Director), The Coronation Voyage, Shopping and Fucking, American Buffalo, Macbeth, The Chance, After Darwin, The Mercy Seat, Ashes To Ashes, A Number, Cold Comfort, The Trestle At Pope Lick Creek, Scenes From The Big Picture,  Owen McCafferty's version of Antigone and most recently Vincent River by Philip Ridley

General Manager - Una Nic Eoin

Una has worked in the arts sector since 1992.  After graduating from the University of Ulster in she worked extensively as an actress and arts facilitator in Dublin, where her work includes two Theatre In Education Seasons with Iomha Ildanach and Down To Earth Theatre Company. 

In 1996, after relocating to Belfast, she took up position as Artist in Residence for Wheelworks on the two year Dream-making Project.

Subsequently she worked as Tutor at the Centre for Performing Arts at Belfast Metropolitan College for four years before becoming Head of Education and Outreach at the Lyric Theatre.

In 2006 she became Creative Development Officer at Creative Media Partnerships, developing and delivering a two year community film project across the island of Ireland.

Following this she took up position at Belfast City Council as Arts Development Officer before becoming General Manager of Prime Cut Productions in September 2009. Since then she has produced Scarborough for the Cathedral Quarter Arts Festival 2010, Vincent River for Pride 2010 and Tour, Shoot The Crow Waterfront and NI Tour, Still Life Still: The Demeter Project at the Northern Bank, Belfast and most recently Blackbird at the Lyric Naughton Studio and Tour.

Outreach Manager - Matt Faris

Matt Faris trained at the Courtyard Theatre, London after graduating from the University of Ulster with a degree in Theatre Studies. Some of the work that Matt has been involved in as an actor include Macbeth[Courtyard Theatre], Othello [Cambridge Shakespeare Festival], The Plummeting Old Woman [Edinburgh Festival], The Seagull [Southwark Playhouse], Antigone [Prime Cut Productions].

Matt has a Diploma in Theatre Facilitation in a Community Context from University College Dublin. He has worked with Prime Cut on various Outreach Programmes including Belfast Days, The Middle Way and Still Life Still: The Demeter Project. As well as Prime Cut, Matt has worked with Tinderbox Theatre Company, Replay Productions, Bruiser and Kabosh, as well as heading projects for organisations such as the BBC Blast Programme, New Lodge Arts, Arts Ekta, Star Neighbourhood Centre, and Southern Health & Social Services Board
