Prime Cut Present the Irish Premiere of After The End, by Dennis Kelly Old Museum Arts Centre, Belfast.
" I think the biggest threat isn’t from what people do to you, it’s from what you do to yourself."
A suitcase nuke. Louise wakes up to find herself in a bomb shelter with Mark, who has saved her life. Mark is always prepared for the worst and has everything he thinks they will need to survive; tinned chilli, Dungeons and Dragons and a knife – now all they need to do is wait.
Can they survive the attack? Can they survive each other?
Please note – this production contains strong language, violence and sexual content.
"Following a nomination at the Irish Theatre Awards for Scenes From The Big Picture, Prime Cut's After The End should win over all but the harshest of critics. It's a powerful, gripping drama from a theatre company that's going from strength to strength" - culturenorthernireland.org
"Emma Jordan has chosen well for her directorial debut, and Kelly's taut two-hander serves her well..Truly a play for today" - The Belfast Telegraph
"Will Irvine and Katy Ducker give great energy to perfromances which are physically and psychologically exacting, and this is a gut wrenching, thought provoking and visually stark production."
