The Irish Premiere of Two  (1992)  by Jim Cartwright

Dates : Thursday 29 October 1992 - Saturday 21 November 1992
Theatre : Old Museum Arts Centre, Belfast and National tour

Untitled Two is set in a pub somewhere in the North of England, owned by a savagely bickering couple bound together by the necessity of keeping the business afloat. During the course of one evening a constant round of customers arrive and depart, drowning their sorrows, celebrating, out for a quick one or painting the town red.

Two actors entertain in a series of character cameos that anyone who has ever had a night on the town will recognise. It is a pacey, hilarious and often poignant show, exploring the surface joviality and underlying melancholy of pub life.
