Macbeth  (2002)  by William Shakespeare - a co-production with the Lyric Theatre

Dates : Friday 06 September 2002 - Saturday 05 October 2002
Theatre : Lyric Theatre, Belfast

Untitled One man is torn between his conscience and his ambition. How far will he go to be king?
" I dare do all that may become a man; Who dares do more, is non."
But every King will have a Queen and murder seems a small price to pay for a throne.
"When you durst do it, then you were a man, And to be more than what you were, you would Be so much more than the man."
With these words Shakespeare's most infamous couple plunge headlong into a nightmare journey from calculated regicide to bloody tyranny.

A chilling psychological study of the conflict between individualism and society and the fine line between power and corruption.
