As part of Prime Cut’s theatre and skills development programme Prime Cut Productions are offering a unique professional development opportunity for technical stage managers in the early stages of their career. The intern will work on Prime Cut’s touring production of Phillip Ridley’s acclaimed play Vincent River. Mentorship will be provided by our production manager Allan McGuiness who will guide the successful candidate through the technical stage management / production management role and the practical application for a touring production. This project will run throughout July and August and the successful candidate will receive a training allowance of £3000 to enable them to fully participate in this exciting internship post.
This opportunity will be open to emerging Northern Irish practitioners, who have worked on a semi-professional, professional, fringe or student basis.
Technical stage managers wishing to be considered for the project are asked to submit the following:
1. A CV detailing experience and production history (indicating whether professional, semi-professional, student, fringe or amateur).
2. An outline of a recent project. The outline should address the following areas: A brief description of the project, an outline of duties undertaken and a self-assessment and analysis of the outcome of the project.
3. A statement indicating why you want to apply for this opportunity and how you feel in may benefit your future career.
