Prime Cut Nominated for Prestigious Theatre Awards Tuesday 15 January 2008

Belfast based, theatre production company, Prime Cut has received two nominations in this year’s Irish Times Theatre Awards for their production of Scenes From The Big Picture by Owen McCafferty at The Waterfront Studio in September 2007
The play was shortlisted for Best Production with Nick McCall also receiving a nomination for Best Lighting Design.
Edel Magill, Executive Producer, Prime Cut Productions says of the achievement:
“Scenes From The Big Picture was a massive undertaking for the company – it featured one of the largest professional casts and creative team in the past few decades. We are absolutely delighted to be shortlisted for Best Production, that’s the nomination that really celebrates the collaborative nature of theatre – it acknowledges the combined efforts of everyone who contributed to the production – actors, author, director, designers, stagemanagers, scenic artists, technicians, venue staff - we will all have our fingers crossed until the February announcements!"
